ABSTRACT
This communication presents first results of an attempt to fuse the information obtained by X-ray tomography and by electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) on absorption columns. The underlying idea of the study, which is only starting, is to combine the high spatial resolution of the X-ray tomography with the high time resolution of the ECT in order to get, hopefully, a better understanding of the gas liquid distribution at the loading point.
