A Modular, Adaptive Electrical Impedance Tomography System

ABSTRACT

In this paper we introduce an electrical impedance tomography system developed at the University of Kuopio, Department of applied physics. The design philosophy behind our system is that it should be modular, adaptive and parallel. The technical details and system specifications of the system are discussed. Two preliminary laboratory experiment measured with the system are presented.
