Second call for papers
Process tomography (PT) referes to fast and nonintrusive imaging systems that take measurements aroung the periphery of a domaon to determine the material distribution inside. The inside features that can be monitpred by PT are frequently encountered in the desighn of process and industrial plants in the fields of the chemical, oil, power and metallurgical industries as well as many other activities such as food and material handling and combustion systems.
Five successful world congresses have already taken place in UK (1999), Germany (2001), Canada(2003) Japan (2005) and Norway (2007). The Sixth World Congress on Industrial Process Tomography (WCIPT6) will take place in Beijing, China in 2010. The goal of the World Congress series is to promote further developments of PT and its tangible applications in various industries, through the joint efforts of researchers and engineers from different scientific and industrial sectors.

- Sensor and sensing mechanisms
- Acquisition systems and instrumentation
- Optic, Laser, Acoustic and hybrid systems
- Image reconstruction and system evaluation
