6th International Symposium

The Cape Town international symposium will take place mid-way between the major WCIPT congresses held in Beijing (2010) and Poland (2013) will provide an interim platform for scientists and engineers to meet and discuss their current research and work in progress. Invited speakers will present on various aspects of process tomography and related fields.

South Africa has a strong interest in medical and industrial tomo- graphy and has developed various instrumentation and measurement techniques. A PEPT system has recently been installed at the iThemba LABS near Cape Town. A visit is planned to this site which will include a tour of the cyclotron facility.

Paper Submission

Papers are invited for presentation under the headings of the conference themes listed above. Please submit abstracts no later than Friday 28 July 2011.

Authors are requested to submit two abstracts for consideration via email to ispt6@isipt.org, indicating whether it is preferred to give the paper in the form of a verbal presentation or a poster. The first page should containing a maximum of 300 words of main text, in addition to the authors name(s) (indicating which is the corresponding author), title, key words, contact email address, and the theme into which the paper falls. The second page should contain a diagram illustrating the main results. Accepted papers will be limited to 8 pages and will be required by Friday 25 Nov 2011.
